Ravinder Singh, No matter what people say but here is a little confession, His First Book made me weep, I wept like a child, now I laugh my stupidity but maybe there was some teenage element then. I reread it many times and still felt refreshing. Some books just born to mesmerize us, I Too Had a Love Story was one of them, I hardly know a girl who had read this book and could resist herself to fall in love with the author. That’s the beauty of books. Either you love the characters or the one who created them.

Past day I picked “Tell Me a Story”, heard a lot about it and It took me less than one day to savour it. Basically it is a compilation of 21 stories, written by magnificent storytellers and Ravinder Singh has done an insightful job to convert them into a lovely book. The First thing book cover was aesthetically pleasing. And the name on the cover ‘Ravinder Singh’, he left no choice to us. And yes each and every story touched my heart, some left me teary-eyed, some enveloped me with calm smile, some ended with hidden messages.

It was hard to pick just one I liked the most, Still..

The book starts with Krishnashish Jana’s story ‘The End of the Tunnel” Full of emotions, hit the heart strings gently, If anybody has gone through the death of dear ones, could feel the connections.

He would be ashes by evening. And yet I can hear his voice, fresh and alive, still ringing in my ears . . . calling out my name, with one hand behind him, hiding a story book, for me . .”

Another one is Kamalika Ray’s ‘The Smile That Said it All’ beautifully woven and ends with a sensitive message. If I could tell more than It seemed like some Bengali literature, loved it to the core.

A Daughter First Flight by Vinay kumar, And Then the Planes Comes by Sanghamitra Bose, Clean Slate by Sukanya M. The Pages from the Writer’s Life by Shamita harsh, Bigger Than A Bee-Sting by Biswas Timsinha.

I wish I could explore each story with little bit details but there is a chance that would kill the charm. Must Read, If you love reading short and heartwarming stories. In one word ‘Time-Worthy!
